The Great Eggflation
Hi everyone, my name is Ashley, a stay-at-home mom. Like many of you, I’ve been absolutely shell-shocked by the rising cost of eggs lately. It seems like just yesterday, a carton was a budget-friendly staple, and now it feels like a luxury item! With the recent spike in egg prices, I decided to start a fun, exciting project with my 4-year-old son – raising backyard quail together.
No Yolking Around
Located in ST Louis, Missouri, I launched Eggonomics to raise awareness about the American egg crisis. I wanted to create a reliable source of information, educating the public on the factors contributing to this situation, such as the avian flu outbreaks, supply chain disruptions and market fluctuations.
Additionally, I want to build a community where we can all collaborate by sharing tips, resources, and solutions—exploring alternatives to help navigate this crisis together.
